IT project : Serial Killers , Part 1

We were told to come up with topics for our IT presentation today , and I wanted to do something that i'm so fascinated about ! 

1.Serial Killers

2.The myth of Vampires 

So , in this post , i'll be reviewing one of the 6 serial killers i'm going to present about.

Probably the best known serial killer in the history , Jack The Ripper .

(whom the identity remained unknown )

He was active in the largely impoverished areas in and around the Whitechapel district of London in 1888.

The name "Jack The Ripper"  originated in a letter,(aka The Boss Letter) written by someone claiming to be the murderer .

BUT !!!!!!!Some said that the letter was nothing more than a hoax, and may have been written by a journalist in a deliberate attempt to heighten interest in the story.






The Ripper's attacks involved female prostitutes and mainly involved throat cutting prior to abdominal mutilations.
The removal of internal organs in at least three of his attacks led to proposals that the Ripper possessed anatomical or surgical knowledge.(police surgeon opposed this idea,and claimed that the killer is most likely a butcher.)

In 1888 ,  Whitechapel Vigilance Committee received the "From Hell" letter , included half of a preserved human kidney , and the writer of the letter is believed to be Jack The Ripper .

 The text of the letter reads:

From hell Mr Lusk Sir I send you half the Kidne I took from one women prasarved it for you tother piece I fried and ate it was very nise. I may send you the bloody knif that took it out if you only wate a whil longer. signed Catch me when you Can Mishter Lusk.

John Gill, a seven-year-old boy was found murdered in Manningham, Bradford, on 29 December 1888. His legs had been severed, his abdomen opened, his intestines drawn out, and his heart and one ear removed. The similarities with the murder of Mary Kelly led to press speculation that the Ripper had killed the boy.
